They checked Lucy out and they do not think it is a blockage. They think she ate something wrong or her food is not agreeing with her. Her stool sample came back clear so they said for us to give her 2mg immodium every 4 to 6 hours tonight and through tomorrow as long as she has diarrhea. If it does not stop over the weekend or if she gets worse they said to bring her back in. They told me to hold the food but let her have as much water as she wants but I just fed her the bland diet which they are against but I don't want her to starve. We gave her immodium and she took it without a fight and so far has held her water down most the afternoon and evening so I hope is just something she ate! Just put her to bed and she is already sleeping my poor girl! I hope tomorrow she is better!

Keeping fingers crossed that Lucy is improving. It's a good sign that she has kept the water down and hopefully it is just a bug that will pass. Thanku for the update [MENTION=5264]sweetpeasmom2008[/MENTION] and give Lucy a big hug 'n kiss from us!

So very sorry I wasn't on and missed this! Poor Lucy, hoping it's a bug
and she's almost thru it but if she starts vomiting and/or continues poo
problems then ask for ultrasound/barium x-rays to rule out obstruction.
Bland diet is not 'table food' per se and lots of vets just don't 'get it'. It
would also be okay to feed nothing but fluids (water, unsalted broth) for
24 hours, resting her tummy but WE feel bad doing this so feed SMALL
amounts but lots of water, ice cubes, broth as she will drink. Please let us
know how she is doing, am praying for all~GOD bless!

Hope she's feeling better now. I'm confused about the bland diet as vets have given it to me several times throughout the years as a corse of treatment. That's actually how I found out about it!

Lucy is doing great today! She didn't poo all night in her crate and this morning she was back to her dancing jumping around self! She ate her breakfast has had loads of water and has held all that down. She is getting spoiled today and loving every minute of it! With what happened to Lola I get nervous when she has diarrhea or is throwing up so maybe I over reacted by taking her to the vet but im so glad I did just in case it was something worse! I only gave her one dose of immodium and have not had to again so I think she was starting to get over it already last night when I gave it to her. Here are some pictures from her birthday! I got a new camera and its a good one and I have no idea how to use it yet so they are blurry sorry!

Is was her last week we celebrated her birthday a little early.
