Does your Bulldog lay down when he or she eats? My Elmo lays down when he eats, My Lazy Boy.

I have a raised feeder for my boy. Maybe it is uncomfortable for him to eat when standing because his head is down. (Or he could just be lazy as you said!!)

Harlea does not. she assumes the vacuum cleaner position and goes to town. However, I did have a ridgeback that would only eat while lying down.

Wow, never heard of that! Castor would probably do good with a raised feeder, though, as he sometimes tips over and stands on his front legs. To slow him down he gets his food on a big tray.
