Jewel was panting heavily off and on yesterday afternoon. My wife took her to the pet ER and after tests, she was bleeding into her gut from a nodule on her spleen. They operated and removed her spleen. As of 0700 this morning, Jewel is resting comfortably and may come home tomorrow.

If there there was cancer in her liver (which there was not), we were ready to put her down.

Jewel is finally recovering and is doing well.

Bentley has been diagnosed with round cell lymphoma and has several nodules on his underside. Waiting for a surgical appointment with Dr. P in Annapolis.

You just can't get a break can you. We are so very sorry to hear about Bentley. Happy that Jewel is better now, time to get the other furbaby well. Sending good thoughts and prayers in your direction.

So glad to hear Jewels is doing better but sad to hear Bentley is now having issues. Praying for all of you and sending healing to sweet Bentley. You have all sure been through it this past year.
