No Way is this gross, These are Your Bullies, they are your four legged babies, I let Elmo and my other 4 legged babies lick the bowl clean before I wash them. I eat after Elmo, he is my Boy. What you are doing is NOT Gross.

Not gross. I wash their bowls and my parrot bowls in the dishwasher to get them clean. I hated eating at my grandmothers because she hand washed and her dishes always had a greasy film so I'd rather dishes be run thru hot water and soap. I also wash my plastic dish scrubber and bottle brush in the dishwasher daily. Do they realize that at hospitals reusable medical surgical tools are run thru sterlizers? Much like the concept of a dishwater but on a whole other level and hot water and steam are part of that.
