Hi fellow Bulldog obsessed people!

Hello and Welcome! Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you'll stay. Your boy is so precious! How old is he? (had to scroll back up to make sure you didn't already answer that) He looks like a precious baby! We are crazy about pictures so please post away and don't feel like you're sharing too much, I for one can never get enough!

Hello Gemma and welcome to you and Archie!

I have experience with the torn ACL... twice. Our boy, Nitshcke tore his and two months after repair the replacement snapped. What we did was cleared a bedroom of furniture, placed a mattress on the floor and took turns sleeping with him. We baby gated the door so he could move around , but no jumping running or stairs for 6 months (yes, months because he snapped the repair). Everything was great after about 8 weeks... then he started limping again.

let me know if you have any specific questions and I will hopefully be able to help.

Thanks again guys, have Archie booked in for consultation with the bulldog specialist on Monday! X:)
here's some more pics!

Welcome and I too am in love with a white bully! Let's us know how you make out with your appointment. I have a bully with a limping issue but not a torn ACL - wish I could offer more.

Welcome!!!

Mimi (RIP) had joint issues when she was a puppy. She was screaming when she tried to walk so we Took her to the closest vet, he said operate at 2-3k. Went to our own vet, 30 miles away, told us (short story) cut her food in half she will be fine in a couple days. It worked. We kept her lean and mean the rest of her Bulldog life without any joint issues. Turned out we were feeding her too much causing her to grow to fast.
