thanks carol.. i am such a softy when i hear about bulldogs being breed and owners do not have a clue of what lies ahead.. it is one of the reasons when i sold my puppies i made every person sign a contract stating that if i feel they are not treating the dog like it should be and mistreating it, including keeping dog cool in summer and not on a chain.. then i have the right to take the dog back without a refund.. and i still keep in touch with all my dogs puppy parents.. i did have to refuse 4 people who wanted one but i knew in my heart that they would not make a good home for my puppy. I did not care about the money, just wanted good homes.. but no matter how much we do there is no guarantee how the dog will be treated.. only one of my pups i had regrets on but ended up in a better home so i could rest.. lol.. seriously, no matter whose dog or what kind of dog, i cant stand the thought of any dog not having a good life and suffering.. i see so many getting one and not realizing what the cost of care might be.. two weeks before i lost my beloved odie we had already spent 6000.00 dollars on his care and i would have spent as much as it would have cost.. because it was my responsibility.. yeah i heard from a lot of co-workers about there is a line somewhere but i disagree, we don't stop giving kids care when they need it so why our pets.. OK, i'm done ranking now.. i can go on and on.. i get so fired up if anyone mistreats a dog or don't get it the care.. .. OK,, really i'm done, maybe.. lol.
