going nuts after poo

Hello All,

Has anyone had experience with a puppy going bonkers after completing a #2? He is now 7.5 months old and has for the most part been getting very calm and well behaved over the last few months. However, he has been getting progressively worse when finishing his "business" outside.

If he just pees or we are just going for a walk, no problem. Bring a poop into the mix and all bets are off. He is calm walking out to his spot, but once he is done he starts jumping at the leash in our hand, biting shoes and laces, biting bottom of pants legs with side to side head motion trying to rip. Meanwhile I'm trying to tie the poop bag and figure out how to get him back inside.

I would say it seems playful nothing on the aggressive side and probably him not wanting to back inside, since he may have figured out that when he's done we walk back in. Only difference is he doesn't do this for pee or regular walks, confused. Any advice on this one?

Lol.... Bella usually sprints away from her poo too. They are so silly!
I swear she does silly stuff just to make me laugh. (And it works!)s

Dogs like to run couple of circles after good s.... Take some treats with you and teach him to sit still after he poops. Question of several days.

Oh my goodness this post was too funny.. i hope you are able to get your poop zoomies under control..
I'm sure its not funny for you but i thank you for the early morning giggle

Mine has never done this but she does get really mad and growls at me when i wipe her bottom afterwards..
