I live in St. Paul but we love bringing Mavis to Duluth. Their Canal Park area has many dog friendly stores - we just walk around since they post signs right on their entrance if dogs are allowed. BUT the main reason we love going there is the local University's mascot is a Bulldog, so bringing Mavis is like bringing a celebrity. Everyone loves seeing a bulldog and wants to pet her. She loves the attention!! Some of the time we don't even make it into any stores - we just walk around with her.
