Well, based on my most recent post to the photos area - its ALL me I scrub that boy down...

Hubby and I tag team together. We bathe our guys once every 2 weeks. We bought a really nice hand held shower head, which makes it easier your back to wash them.

In here the profession of groomers is pretty young and they still mostly work with long haired dogs that need trimming or such. So I'm the sole bather of my boys.

I do it mostly. She goes to daycare occasionally and they do a really great job, including nails, so I have them do it if she needs it. She LOVES baths--plays in the tub like a little kid.
This is when she jumped in the tub with me.

Rub-a-dub dub, we all end up in the tub with brushes, soap and plenty of attitude!! hehe; Amber is not much fond of baths but Ruby thinks she is a world famous snorkeler.

My pups go for a spa package about every 6-8 weeks. They get a bath and blow dry. They also get their nails and ears done at the same time. They both seem to like it as the women are in love with them and treat them so good. I have given a few baths at home. Lola liked it and Floyd hated it.

That is just so adorable, I can so picture that.

Since I'm allergic to dogs, I rely on the professionals to take care of it… I have wonderful groomers for my baby!!!

Do you have the kind that you can stop the water flow with the handheld? I've been looking for one for a while. Right now I'm doing the old fill a cup and pour it over trick and it's just too much!

Hi Devin , no we have a Moen hand held shower head, and we use it to first spray them to get them wet, then I push the plunger down on the tap, which lets the water run from the tap, then we apply the shampoo and wash them, then I pull the plunger again to turn the shower back on to rinse them. The shower hose is long enough to hang down while I'm not using it, and then I can just grab it and rinse them off.

We do it but Castor only has two baths a year or so.

Oh to have the luxury of someone else!! Would be a vacation!!!

I don't trust anyone with my babies so I do it myself. My 1st bully had 3 different types of skin cancer at diff times over the years and I think that by always grooming her myself I was able to notice the changes which led to early detection and successful removal. Unfortunately the last cancer was inoperable and untreatable and it took her from us.
