Last year we had all sorts of issues finding a coat that was wide enough and short enough for Curly. We ended up buying a very expensive waterproof coat - I forget the brand. I liked it but I didn't love it.

This year I decided to ask a friend, who use to stitch for a living, to make Curly a coat. With some thick scrap fabric, she made one up and I love it!

Here is curly modeling his new homemade coat. Taylor's to fit [emoji6] We are winter ready!!

And she made it in an hour! She has 6 dogs and makes this same design jacket every year for them. I was impressed and curly loves it!

Wow a win win situation and it looks fabulous guess you will be asking that friend for a few more favors.
Curly is styling and profiling - hope Curly thanked your friend

Wow, what a great job! That is a cute pair there. :)

Yes!! We are actually talking about the next coat she is going to make him. It was her first time meeting Curly and now she is an official member of the Curly Fan Club :) I think I'm going to start paying her for the coats though so she doesn't feel like I'm taking advantage of her skills.

He looks like such a stud in his new jacket. I love it.

Thank you!! Yes, he wouldn't take it off either. I think it since it was slightly tapered at the waist, he like the slimming look it gave him ROFL

That's my baby girl, Mi'me. She's 3/4 Boston and 1/4 Pug. Weighing in at 19-21 lbs; she runs this house!

Looks great! Do you just pull it over his head and buckle the belt under his tummy or is there an opening around his neck?
