How much does your bulldog weigh?

I have a 9 month old intact male English Bulldog. He currently weighs 53 lbs. I had expected around 55lbs as an adult, but based on him being so young and having some filling out to do, I am wondering what I am in for. He was 10-15lbs when I got him at 8 weeks.

I guess I will have do some strengthening exercises because he thinks he is a lap/carry dog.

Lockjaw is 9 months and 47 lbs, his sister Penny is 39 lbs. how much did the parents weigh? I'm expecting Lockjaw to be closer to 55-60 as an adult. The dad was 65lbs and solid. Mom was 45.

Rosie is almost 7 months now and is above 40 lbs but below 45lbs , weigh in comes soon , do not forget like all human pets they come in all sizes , there all wonderful tho !

Monty is 5 yrs old and now weighs 69 lbs. He was 72 when we got him and needed to lose a few. We got him down to 66 but he has now gone up again. I think he will always be rather large!

Bulldozer weighs 45 lbs, and Blossom weighs 47 lbs, they are both 4 years old.

There is a way you can tell if they are overweight or underweight. Stand and look at your dog from the top, they should have a well defined waist, and when you touch their rib area, you should be able to feel their ribs, but not see them.

His dad weighs 55lbs; don't remember the mom.

I don't care how much he weighs in the end. He is just getting on the end of what I can pick up so I guess its going to be lots of stairs and ramps in the end. Or my husband can do the lifting if required.

Nyala 4.5 months old MINI English Bulldog 26lbs. She took 6lbs in one week!!!! Really odd like her shoulders really widen within a week.
