Update: Henry

Henry is six months old and weighs 40 lbs. Today, he hurt his mommy. Out of the blue, he jumped up on my desk and as I reached for him, I smashed my hand. Two hours in the ER only to be told they cant repair them, the ligaments in two of my fingers snapped, that I have to see a specialist to have them surgically repaired. But, we had a great time earlier today, before the accident and I got some nice shots of him and his big sis playing. They have become inseparable so it is not easy getting pics of just him. Anyway, this will be my last update for some time. One handed typing is too much work, and I won't be able to use the camera again for a while, so these are the last photos until I heal, lol!

Annie, I'm very sorry to read this news… If it's any consolation, every time I bathe Rocky, and pat him dry, he has the same episodes, it's like he's filled with so much excitement he isn't paying attention to what he's doing, i'm always afraid of him hurting himself or me accidentally just burning off the excitement. You know Henry would never hurt you intentionally, and I seen BruceP post a poll the other day to this effect, your pet hurting you accidentally, which I've received a black eye already due to an unintentional head butt, nothing like you have with the ligaments, But you will be in thoughts and prayers, until you get back on your feet. Sorry…..

@GoldenRod Same here with the excitement levels. He goes from a zero to ten in a matter of seconds. I always feared he would hurt himself too; never that it would be me and to this degree. I still love him and I know he feels bad because when we got home, he was the perfect gentleman and this morning he is all lovey to me. He knows I'm hurting right now.

[MENTION=5315]Texas Carol[/MENTION] Thanks Carol.We don't really know what he is because he was a rescue. Only that we were told he is a bulldog mix. He is getting quite big and his nose is longer than a bulldog. He acts much like a bouncy boxer. We are guessing he may be bulldog/boxer, or bulldog/olde english bd mix? Whatever the mix is, he is quite the clown and always keeps us entertained. Best of all, Molly adores him and that is what we were ultimately looking for. Now, if I can get his excitement under control...LOL!
