This is the best advice! Chum had the worst gas imaginable! I used the yogurt and didn't help one bit. It was all in the food..caused the gas and the tear stains! Once off the food it stopped completely!Amanda, ya gotta get Gordo OFF the royal canine and on to GRAIN FREE kibble.
Otherwise all the yogurt/kefir in the world will never stop the gas. Helps allergies,
skin problems & tear stains immensely!
Thank you. Should I give it once a day? Is a tablespoon to much for him?
Leah, are you still feeding him Pedigree? If so...THAT is his gas problem.
No he is on iams and doing very good on it
Iams is not rated well and causes gas. NOT trying to hurt your feelings, I
cringe to admit, in my past, feed Ole Roy...before getting educated. My
Mom & Dad came from farmers and just feed dogs...whatever! So, I had
no clue and neither do any of us before we do. Thank goodness, I had the
knowledge, good health starts with your GUT as I developed several uncurable
diseases, was dying under doctor's care, who knew NOTHING about nutrition.
Cutting all grains, soy, corn & sugar (not good for people or pets) helped me
have a life again as I was mostly in bed in racking pain & dibilitating fatigue...
couldn't blow dry my hair, my arm was too weak to hold the blowdryer, etc
Take the time to research dog nutrition and buy the best food you can...I am
on disability so I feed TOTW Bison & Venison and Cami does great on it.
Good luck & GOD bless!
