Still sick

So after almost 4 months of pneumonia, double ear infections, etc... here I sit in the Emergency Room waiting for an emergent Cat Scan of my Mastoid bones because doc now thinks I have a massive infection. WBC is very elevated and the pain in the bones behind my ears is fantastic! If Cat Scan comes back positive, I have to get a pic line for IV antibiotics because nothing else is working at this point. FML right now!

I'm so sorry you're going through this Rosalie, and still not feeling well. I hope they are able to determine what type of infection it is and antibiotics clear it up. If this doesn't end up showing up as an infection, have you ever been tested for allergies, particularly old like dairy? My friend gets the same type of infections at least every other month, sinus, eyes, and especially her ears, and the doctor has always treated it with antibiotics. She has gone dairy and gluten free and has seen big improvements. I hope you feel better soon Hun. Take care.

I hope they figure it out and give you the right meds. This totally sucks.
About 10 years ago I caught a cold that turned into a sinus infection. I would get sick, get better, get sick, rinse and repeat. This went on for about 2 months.
Winded up going on Cipro for 30 days. Was awful.

Anyway, you need to get better fast - like while Lambeau is still a puppy!! We're supposed to take a road trip to see him!! Remember??!!
