Just wondering if anyone has tried the Stella and Chewy Raw blend red meat recipe

I switched Red from Fromm pork and peas and his tear stains and paw itching went away bit the gas is horrible. Was told to try Nature vet enzymes plus probiotics and I think it might be even worse

Any suggestions?
Thank you

I bought a bag... I did not read the entire list of ingredients till I got home... the boys LOVED IT and it is a 5 star food on dog advisor, but it has lamb in it and Lambeau is allergic. So I had to take it back.

I may try one of the other flavors ... I am also on Fromm Pork and Peas and want to stay on one protein, but Lambeau's tears stains are getting darker and it could be his environmental allergies, but I was thinking the food might be part of it too

I also tried the Stella and Chewy freeze dried raw coated kibble beef and tear stains have yet to come back. I wish Stella and Chewy had a pork one it would probably work best for Red for the gas issue.

I think chicken is what Red is allergic too so I can't try the other raw blend one

The naturvet enzymes probiotic doesn't seem to help in fact the gas is worse

They have a fish blend too. Try raw goats milk as the probiotic--- i use that and the pups love it

I think Primal has a freeze dried formula as well.

You can try Herbsmith Microflora Plus as a probiotic instead. Or sauerkraut from fridge section of health food store. Or green tripe.

I don't think fish formula dog food is good long term (beyond a few months) because of all the heavy metal contaminants such as mercury in fish.
