Aww. she is cute. She will eat. she is just nevous.

Oh what a sweet baby. Hopefully she'll eat today

Sweet Giz,,,, normal to not eat for a couple days, she is stressed and wondering what is going on. Hugs sweet girl....

When I have ever gone on a trip to my sister's (about a 13 hour drive) it takes one of my dogs 3 or 4 days before she will eat. If she won't eat dog food, try some yogurt first. Maybe she will eat that, and when she gets more comfortable she will start to eat better. Best of luck with your new beautiful girl. Her parents couldn't have asked for a better outcome-other than keeping her. You are a hero!

Aw, sweetie-Gizmo. I'm glad she had a good night's rest. The eating will come...just takes some time. Lots of hugs to Gizmo! :havemyheart:

Such a sweetie. She will settle in soon and start eating again. She is just confused as to what is going on.

Belly scratches for Gizmo lots of reassurance and time let her soak in the atmosphere, and a pat on the back for work well done = a good day

She tends to be finicky, unless you add a little extra treat to her bowl. Any finely chopped up protein... Very fine so she can't just pick it out. She LOVES yogurt (we call it puppy crack) I would drizzle a little grease from a hamburger or bacon, just to give her a different smell and taste. But she has the princess attitude. 'I eat when I feel like eating' :p

Great picture.. She loves recliners and laps :-)

Brenda, Thank you again

Aww sweet baby, she's still getting used to her new home… give her time, and lots of hugs and kisses from TN!!!

Aww what a cutie pie, I agree with others, she will come around, she's been traveling, and now she's in a new home and surroundings, she just has to settle in and get used to this being her home. It also seems that this just may be part of her personality as well as Rick mentioned that she can be picky. I'm so glad that she is with you, and Rick can stay in touch.

Brenda, I so very much admire your resolve to help Rick & Dottie and
giving them peace of mind knowing Gizmo (and Hershey w/Jim) have
wonderful homes and safe with loving, caring new parents. GOD bless!

Picked up some canned Blue Buffalo and mixed it into her dry food and she ate it all! I'm a happy bully mom
