Max's (L) lower eyelid and skin around his (L) eye is Red, and the redness is increasing in diameter. Could this be allergies?
If it is, is there anything I can do or give Max for this? He has already had Allergy testing and it all came back Negative.
I've tried Benadryl, and it does nothing. I don't know what is causing the skin around his eye to be red like this ......
Does anyone have any ideas ?

Thanks.

Bumping this up for you Maximus. I don't think anyone's seen this and you need the experts - not me! :D

Can you post a picture? That might help folks, help you.

My advice would have been Benadryl but you said it doesn't work... so sorry.

I was thinking allergies, the pollen count is high right now all over, maybe try Zyrtc? It is similar to Benedyrl. I have used both. Also you might want to try taking a cool washcloth and just wiping his eyes several times a day to keep whatever that is irratating his eyes clean???

If you have tried Benedryl for a few days and if is still getting worse, I would take him to the vet, maybe an eye infection.

Any chance you could post a picture?

My concern here is that it is ONLY his LEFT EYE. If it were both eyes, I would say we have a chance at considering Allergies, however, as I indicated, his Allergy Testing labwork came back NEGATIVE for everything. Yep, Benadryl does not work. Conjunctivitis? Yep, could be. In any event, I have made an appointment with his Opthamologist for Wednesday as I believe it is important enough for a Vet specialist to look at it. I wish I could post Pics, but I can't since I dont have a camera!

Wow, his panel came back negative for EVERYTHING??!! How old is he?? Hope he's feeling better soon!

UPDATE::: Maximus has Blepharitis, and has had 2 episodes of it in less than a month. He has been on steroids, eye drops, and antibiotics and the advice of the Vet is that Maximus needs Entropion surgery on the (L) eye, otherwise he will continue to have bouts of blepharitis, which is painful and uncomfortable for him.
Once he finishes his medications, he will be scheduled for surgery.

Poor Max..... prayers and positive thoughts for you and Maximus
