Figured I'd just post to see if I could get any other additional information as I wasn't too fond of the answers or should I say lack there of from the vet. So this morning around 830 or so I get a text from my fiancée that Stella got sick after eating. I figured it was just a one time thing but she said she vomited 5 times after she ate. I told her she may just be sick and to just monitor her and let her lay down. An hour goes by and she's still vomiting (5 more times) and can't get comfortable laying down, after that I told her to call the vet to bring her in. We bring her in and they take her temp and it normal. They ask to do an X-ray of her stomach since she appears to be in pain (she was favoring her back leg when laying at the vet). They do X-rays and there's no obstructions and everything appears fine. They ask to do blood work and I agreed; again everything comes back normal. Vet said to not feed or give her water till the morning and start off on some bland food. They gave her a shot in the back to help relax her however 6 hours later she's getting figitdy and not laying anymore. I'd like to give her an anti inflammatory because I believe her back leg is giving her some pain but she hasn't eaten all day so I don't want to do that on an empty stomach. Just kind of at a lost for how to make her comfortable. Should I try to give her a little water and food to see if she can hold it down and if so give her an anti inflammatory if she can keep the food down?
