Proud new owners!!

Hi, im new to bulldogs but not dogs in general. We got this baby a week ago from a women who could sadly not keeping due to her condo rules. He is about to be 5 months old and he is 30 lbs. i love him to death. We also have a 1 year old 6 lb Yorkie. And 3 human kids so its a full house!!
This is my new baby! Are his colors rare or weird? Sorry i suck at taking pics

Welcome to the family, and your bully is too precious. His color is not "rare" as some breeders who breed for "color" want you to believe so they can charge more money for them. Blacks, blues, lilacs, and merles are not a bulldog standard color. Right now under AKC black is an undesirable color, but we as BCA members are voting to change the color black and the other "colors" to a DQ color in the conformation ring. That being said, your baby is a beauty and as long as you love him, that's all that matters. It's not your or your pups fault there are breeders out there who just breed for money and don't care about the breed.

I didnt get him cuz of his color but because i had been wanting a bully for a long time and i was the last hope otherwise the puppy was going to end up on craigslist! I love him. Its sad that i wont be able to register him in AKC because of his colors. As im not looking to breed but i like knowing my Dogs are pure bred and registered. I take pride on that but oh well. He is awesome.

And i was asking if he was rare as everytime i take him out, people comment on how they never seen one in that color before
