Hello, Meet Otis! Looking for Help Identifying His Color

We just brought home our new baby English Bulldog, and we wanted to check with other Bulldog owners about what our breeder shared with us. We spent a lot of time researching reputable breeders within driving distance and found one that came highly recommended, especially for prioritizing their puppies’ health.

They focus on breeding Bulldogs with slightly longer snouts to help with breathing and reducing the size of the nose wrinkle to minimize the risk of bacteria buildup.

Here’s a picture of Otis! He’s 8 weeks old and just joined our family yesterday. We believe he’s a blue Merle, but some neighbors have mentioned he might be a tri-color blue Merle or even lilac. We’d love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance.

He is cute and a merle. However, as a member and officer of my local Bulldog club and of the Bulldog Club of America, a reputable and ethical breeder would not breed Merles or any other "exotic" colors.
