My husband has spent the last 10 days in Missouri with his dad's family.

When he got home, he couldn't believe how chunky Orion was. I've been telling him for over year that we needed to cut down her food. There's no reason she should be getting the same amount of food in a day that Vegas does. She's 20 pounds lighter than him. But my husband is such a softy. He looks into her big brown eyes and he is such a pushover. So Orion is on a diet! Poor baby girl!



I guess with 10 days away he forgot what a chunk butt she is. My brother-in-law has a little mixed breed 10 pound dog...... I guess he got use to seeing him all the time that seeing Orion was a little bit of a shock!!

The house is going to get tore up... she is not going to be a happy girl, at all... nope not a bit! So, will she be getting Vegas Stew :D

She's tiny but a little thick. Last time we gave her Vegas Stew.....she didn't need to lose weight, but since we had Vegas on it we put her on it too. We really had a hard time putting weight on her. I look at the photos from that time (her dr said she was perfect) but everyone else thought she was underweight. We were feeding her more than she needed....but she was so freaking thin. Does anyone remember those photos? As she got older she started filling out more. She really isn't a beggar and she doesn't demand food. She loves her tomatoes and she loves her lettuce and green beans. And she loves exercise.

Me & Cami both put on a 'lil extra this strange winter
we had in TX, so gloomy, rainy, ice & snow, so rare!

Cami's short & stout by build and hates walking! Last
week on a trip to her groomers for nails, she stopped
and sat her big butt down in the middle of the traffic
crossover and would not budge! I'm mortified, we've
stopped traffic and I just knew someone was gonna
start honking which was going to upset her even more.
Didn't have any treats on me, finally, thankfully, she got
up then lumbered on across...Whew! I can't pick up her
65 lbs! Afterwards, she pooped on the floor even tho I'd
taken her potty before leaving home, just not a great day.

So, yeah...we feel your weight, err...PAIN, sweet Orion
