Last minute decision, went to Quebec visit the family n decided to drive across. So of course da furballs came along. We stopped a few places so Nyala n Duke can get exercises. Stopped on one side of Lake Superior where it kinda started. Nice little beach. Was mostly driving as had to be back for work :( waves were so strong both were being swept back on shore. Why they didn't have any vest.

helsonwheels BEAUTIFUL photos!!! Those are some BLESSED pups to have you as a Mom!!! Was the water cold?

Nice shots, Helene.
I bet the kids would love to do that every day.

sisters3 water wasn’t too cold as people were swimming further down. Mind you Canadians will swim in cold water.
oscarmayer why we drove to Quebec cause an hourish from Montreal you enter the Mont Tremblay where there’s skiing, golf, tons of lakes for fishing etc etc. We were going there to visit some chalet along lakes to see what to buy. Will be buying soon n rent it out seasonally till we move back in 4yrs. Like that Nyala n Duke will have their own lake.

Beautiful... I would love to take mine to the water's edge, it's been way too hot this summer.

Wonderful photos! Nyala looked a lot less serious in these shots. I guess she just needed a vacation LOL

Last time I went to Quebec I hit a construction zone on the highway and the gendarmes ( Quebecois for police ) nailed me for a huge speeding ticket, pulled me with my Ontario licence plates from the crowd of Quebec cars. Quebec is very serious about their construction zones, even though it was a Sunday with no one working, and they double the fine in those areas.

When did you go to Quebec for them to double the fine? The problem in Quebec is today’s young kids will zoom in a construction zone supposedly 60km but these little idiot do 100km...

When I drive through Ontario which is the only province that the norm km is only 90 and takes forever to cross. All construction zones were either double fine but my mouth dropped when the majority was triple fine. Was first time I saw that. Was after the Great Lakes going east. I cross Canada often n must say Ontario is the strictest. I do understand the 90km though as it’s extremely scenic route and does take 1.5 days to cross cause of the lakes. Beautiful roads too. Like a roller coaster. Lol

Retired? Me? Pfffft...I’m so not the retired person. I’ll probably die of boredom if I retired lolll.

Yup selling the houses n business n vroom vroom I’m off. My whole family is on the other side. My mom is 85yrs young, very healthy, takes no pills whatsoever, still drives well and has all her head. We have a family that lives till our mid 90’s. Hopefully she does too. When I moved here is like she lost a part of her. I was as we say ā€œthe daughterā€. She doesn’t have another 20 years to go either so time to go back and spend more quality time and do things together. My son’s are both doing great here and have their own lives going. They can fly down to see me or I’ll fly back once in a while. So yes I’m ready to go with my 2 mutts. :trainride:
