I’m not sure if it’s dandruff..
In certain places on her back there will be a small
a lump of something white. It’s only in a few places..

All you describe... staph infection seems likely... vet appointment needed for antibiotics and add a probiotic to strengthen immune system

She has an appointment later in the week.
I’m so confused, how can it be a staph infection?
She has no symptoms except for a bit of either dry skin or dandruff..?

In Bulldogs, Staph just mysteriously appears. There's little you can do to prevent it other than regular bathing and providing a balanced high quality diet. Lala has one going on now as well as a rescue we placed nearby. Two months ago it was Zoe. They come and go sometimes without treatment but most often for us they go with Cephalexin and Douxo Mousse.

Most often they start out as little bumps easily felt as well as seen, because the hair looks raised. Eventually the bump settles down but the skin flakes and the hair falls out. Then the hairless spot gets bigger and the skin around the edge of the spot continues to flake. If left unchecked the spot will get even larger and hair will begin to grow back in the center of the spot making it look like a crop circle. This is what we see most often...typical Staph.

Raging staph can cover larger areas, cause inflamed skin, and blister. Areas where the dog can scratch will develop hot spots. It can quickly get out of hand for a dog with a weak immune system.

No staph infection says the vet. We use a popular bulldog specialist.
I have been given some shampoo to use once a day for a week.

The vet put it down to allergies. She does have a small red area which could be the
beginning of a hot spot but it looks like it’s healing on its own.

Lola also had to have medicine for an inflamed ear canal which is also healing.
It’s ridiculously difficult for us to clean her ears because she hates it.
She is slowly trusting us more and more with her ears.

She’s loving having this shampoo, only because she loves having a shower or bath.

Since using the shampoo the dry skin is slowly fading. She is due back next week for
a checked up and if there isn’t improvement she will need to start medication.
Fingers crossed there’s improvement, this time of year my bank account is screaming at
me to rob a bank..

If it is allergies... what food do you feed? Brand and protein

I was feeding her Wainwright’s Lamb and vegetables.
Since her nose rope was becoming gunky I’ve changed her to
Turkey and Vegetables as of Monday just gone.

I’m unsure of the protein etc as I’m at work tonight.

Sorry but I sure would get my dogs off of that food. Turkey (37%) Turkey Meat Meal, Turkey Gravy n 30% of sweet potatoes n 10% of potatoes...way too much potatoes which is starch. Oh n it also has pea starch n yeast. Percentage of starches over powers the protein. Should be the other way around.

The beatifunday will come. Bulldog always make us happy. Look at my new dream come true

I’m confused now.

She used to have royal canine which was highly recommended by her breeder.
Then the specialist vet says this wood is better.
Now neither are any good..

I’m lost what food to get Lola.

RC is worse! Simply stay away from that junk.
The problem is that we westerners don’t know much what kibbles are the best in UK.
But I’ve been to England a few times and from what I saw, you guys a fantastic corner butcher shops. Anyway you can feed him raw?

I’ll do some research for you on kibbles. Stay as is for now... but do consider raw n ask the butcher to make 1/2 pound bags... I recall reading like we have here Dog Advisor which grades the kibbles as quality to non quality... let me go look for it... I recall it had a green background...
