Cutie pie! Big nose ropes aren't a big deal as long as you keep them clean to begin with. I've heard of the surgery but only to help when infection has been allowed to set in and went unchecked. I don't think his nose rope looks so big from the pictures -- I don't think it will affect his breathing. Ruckus had a rather large one and he's been fine.
