Hello EBN community, new member from North Carolina
I love all animals but nothing beats a dog for me!
Our last dog ( a mutt ) passed some seven years ago from old age. We have two pot belly pigs Anne, and Buster that were rescue pigs and have had from piglets. They are getting on in age/slowing down now.
The past year and a half we have been thinking it might be time for another dog and have been looking hard at the EBD breed learning all we could. Well last November we found a little girl from a local breeder who was born on Halloween night. When we picked her ( Bella ) from the rest of the litter she was just three weeks old so now the long wait to bring her home.
Me, my wife and two sons fell like a fifty pound sack of potatoes in love with Bella in the first few days!!
Well we have come to realize that these EBD are a lot like potatoe chips and you can't have just one, so we have put a deposit on a little boy ( Dozer ) who is thirty nine days old today and should be picking him up the first week of March. Can't wait!
I hope to learn a lot from all of you knowledgeable folks! Thanks for having me!
