New boy came in a while back...

he’s really cute...and goofy. He’s a solid 61 lbs and still carrying his package. His owner delivered Jim to one of our transporter/foster experts. He had ridden for 45 minutes in a kennel in the back of a pick up. It was 95 degrees and he was in big time distress. The rescuers got him home and in the tub for a cold water bath. It took over 2 hours to get him cooled down.
All I can say is “People(some people) are stupid!!!!”
His came in as Tank but I’ve renamed him Hanky Panky Tanky.
He visited our Vet today and got all his shots and a general look over. Ear and eye infections are under control and almost normal. He’ll be needing a palate reduction and possibly a “nare flair”. When that gets done we’ll get him denuggetized.
He’s such a sweet boy and I haven’t had a big ole lug of a male since Hoss, 20 years ago. I’m trying to figure out how I can hold on to him. Not sure that will work even though the 4 girls here have warmed up to him quickly.

I would actually say you are being kind,when you say "some"-I guess you are kinder than I-I would say "MANY!"

Hanky Panky Tanky is a handsome guy! He sure does have tight nares! He would sure be lucky to stay with you two(and the crew!!) [MENTION=15364]oscarmayer[/MENTION]

I think we should have the right to put stupid owners like this “stupid” one in the cage, lock it up n leave them roast in 95degree sun!

I think that whatever has been done to the dogs, should,as punishment, be done to the cruel owners!
In court, people who have callously murdered, are always afraid of the death penalty-go figure!
