I haven't been on in a bit due to the old back.
On Friday I bathed the 3 bully's, on sat morning it looked like diesel had bad cold, sun night there was a pool of blood at his penis.
The vet said he had an infection and he hadn't been to the toilet in a few days. So put catheter in and antibiotics.
When I went to get him I was told dogs have stones in there ball sack but the ph levels dissolve the stones. A stone had caused blockage as there's no ph in his wee at the mo.
He wouldn't take meds to yest back to vets, 6 injections later and was told if he won't go for a wee it's an operation.
No wee so just took him to vets for operation and was told they would have liked to have got rid of infection before operation but they can't leave it any longer. He may not make surgery as he's not eaten since Friday, it's Wednesday here in the uk.

Ffs. Not happy, he was at the vets 7 days ago and was told what a health - clean bulldog I have.

The vet called about 5 ish. Said diesel was 2 poorly to operate and there trying to flush the infection out of him.
He said he's in a bad way and its 50/50 if he makes it through tonight.

Devastated is an understatement, feel powerless. I guess it's a waiting game.

I am praying for your sweet boy [MENTION=6047]jimmyjj[/MENTION]. I can only imagine how helpless you feel. Can they give heavy duty antibiotics to help with the infection? I wish you could get him to an emergency vet for another opinion.
