Does anyone get their yard treated for mosquitos or know anything about it?

I have never and will never use chemicals on my lawn. You can achieve the same results with plants. There are a lot of plants that repel mosquitoes, flies, fleas and ticks. Lemon grass, lavender... there are too many to list

I have planters on my deck with rosemary, oregano, mint, basil and thyme. Great for cooking AND keeping the bugs away when we are eating.
oh, and isn't this pretty? http://www.amateurgardening.com/home/insect-repellent-patio-planter-reader-offer/

@Twice great advice Bev. I'm going to look into some of those plants.
