Lucy's Red Eye

Hello.

Lucy, our almost 5 month old EB often has her right eye get reddish/pink in the corner...near a little "split" where we have tear ducts. Her left eye is always fine, and this reddish condition of her right doesn't appear to bother her.

We clean her folds and around her eyes gently every day. We can ask the vet of course at her next visit but we're wondering about it anyway.

Any ideas? Thanks!!!

Yes, definitely around and not IN. I am familiar with cherry eye but this doesn't look anything like it, just frequent reddening of that area. Thanks!

Oh yes, one could say that she's still teething. She still goes into Pirhana mode quite often.

My boy is 6 mths, just finished teething and his one eye looked like that at times --- keep an eye on it, but you can give Benedyl 1mg per pound up to 3x a day... it helps with the tearing and teething pain
