Re: Little Lily

Pati, Lily is such a smart and beautiful pup! what a love-bug!:luv: i liked the roll-over she did...i still can't get my boys to do that one! maybe Lily can teach them how to do it!?!
Will be hoping her next operation is a huge success.

thank you xxx
for the roll over -once they are lying down - move the hand with a treat slowly just pass their head so the head will turn slightly and so is their bodies to one side - they should be in a "play dead" position-(if they dont know that one start with play dead-and if they love good tummy rub this will help also ) once they get that continue luring him onto his back - they should start slightly "tipping" on the other side - give them a gentle nudge and they should roll to get their balance back -again load of praise and a treat -something really special , repeat the word roll over (jut in case) - give a treat and load of praise - it worked well for us hope that help xxx

Re: Little Lily latest pic page 3

Lily trick no 7 sit pretty (roll over listed in my thread in last video ) (sit and lie down on one of Shy videos on her blog or youtube)
how did we teach Lily dog to it pretty
start from sit position prefebly against vertical surface - in our video kitchen cabinet doors then gently move high value treat pass their head it will force them to lean backwards - at first they fall all over the place it will take some time before they get their balance right - here is Lilis progress after first 10 minutes of learning the trick - i dont let her jump around as this will later be used once Lily master sit pretty -
again give loads of praise and a treat even for a fall over the lace it pretty - they will try harder - do not reward when they jump
keep training short but often - always end on positive note
