Jauni is a young pup who was found lethargic by the side of the road by a good Samaritan. He was taken to Miami Dade Animal Shelter, from where BTB took him immediately on a medical release. Juani was diagnosed at the shelter with erlichia (a serious tick-borne disease) and additionally found to be severely anemic by our vet. Luckily, he was not in need of a transfusion, but was close. He being treated with meds for the tick disease and once it is safe, he will be neutered. At this point, he does not seem to get along with other dogs, so will probably need to be an only. Juani is a energetic, rowdy boy with puppy like behaviors. He has received professional training and will need a home that continues working with him. He is very toy and food modivated! Experienced dogs owners preferred and training experience a plus.
