Is my EBD fullblooded?

Hi, I purchased an English bulldog from a lady in Georgia. I'm now concerned my Sadie may not be full English bulldog! She doesn't have a lot of wrinkles and no nose rope. I'm starting to think the lady lied to me!! Am I the only one who's bulldog looks like this?

[MENTION=18884]TracyD[/MENTION] she does look mix. But EB does go through a lot of changes. Have you seen the parents n their paperwork? Mind you they can show you what they want as parents and you wouldn’t know either. Did you call her up? How old is she n what’s her weight?

Hmm... she may be a mix, sure seems to have a lot of boxer in her. Did you get any papers? Bullies DO go thru an awkward stage, and some of them do look more like boxers.

Sadie sure is a cutie! Bella looked like a boxer to me when she was younger.

Didn’t have the underbite as a puppy and she doesn’t have much of a nose rope either.
She grew her underbite slowly. Lol

All we know for sure as that we couldn’t love her anymore than we do!

Welcome! She does look like a mix, maybe even a Victorian bulldog or OEB... she is a beautiful girl and you’ll have less health issues due to the longer snout and less wrinkles

She is 3 months old. She weights 20 lbs. I've had English bulldogs in the past and none looked like this. I'm concerned because when you spend this kind of money on a pet to be part of your family, you hope that the person you got her from would be honest with you!

I purchased her without papers because I just wanted a pet to be apart of my family. I feel like the lady lied to me! Upsets me because I'm a single mother and me and my 12 year old son drove from nc to Georgia and the amount of money I spent ! I truly hope I'm wrong!

100% English Bulldog or not, Sadie is a beautiful dog and I hope she will be a great new family member!

Look at the tail. If it comes to a small point, almost a pencil point (whether it's straight or curled) then it's a Bulldog tail. If it comes to a blunt end similar to a thick cigar, then it has been docked and you most certainly have a mix.
Regardless, you have a splendid looking boy...love that black masking and white stripe up the middle of his face.

Sadie is cute baby! She looks like she has some boxer or pitty blood. Her size and build, weighing 20 pounds is also a bit too big for 3 months old English bulldog, which might indirectly say that she has taller dogs blood in her veins. 2 months old bulldog when you purchase them is usually 8-9 pounds, so 3 months old normally doesn’t weigh 20 pounds.

She is definitely a mix, possibly boxer or pitbull. However, she is very pretty!
