I don't think so ... my "sister" CoCo the mini doxi gets close to that every time she stays here!!!!!!!!! She does all the talking for Chunk.

I would use duct tape!

My parents adopted an ex-show dog Collie who is "debarked" and the sound she makes are 1000 times worse than barking. It's awful.

That is so cruel. I can't believe vets do it for no reason....well I guess I can if the money is good:down:

When Gracie starts licking the air incessantly I threaten her that Im going to staple her lips shut... :LMAO:

Duct tape is cheaper, and it comes in many fashionable colors now.

I didn't even think of staples! She got in so much trouble last night for jumping on Vegas. I had her submitted on her back and I made Vegas sit by her head and the little turkey still tried to attack him from a submitted position! She was so mad!

You can de-bark a dog???????

I have never heard of such a thing before ......

How would you like your vocal cords ripped out?????

My father-in-law's 4th wife had her little dog debarked. I think it is mutilation. Go with the duct tape to match her outfit!

Ruggles is 4 now and doesn't bark nearly as much as he used to. We kept putting him in time out in his crate when he would go on a barking jag. He either caught on or out grew the behavior! He is our only barky Bulldog!

Aww which vet originally thought that de-barking a dog would be a good idea!!!

What about those electronic 'bark stop' things??? "As seen on TV" Look like they work on tv.... lol
