I don't know whether to cry or scream or just jump in front of a bus. I had been sick with pneumonia since the the beginning of September. I finally started to feel like myself again around Columbus day. Now for the past few days I have felt like I was getting sick again. I went to the doctor this evening and he nonchalantly says I have a sinus infection. This is exactly what he said last time and I ended up with pneumonia. He is such a dismissive a## hole! He said he is giving me a stronger antibiotic this time. I point blank told him if I get pneumonia again, I was coming back and cutting his balls off! Let him chew on that for a bit.

Maybe you should see a specialist, like an ENT, to make sure it's a sinus infection and they can give you the right treatment. Get better soon!

Lol, I wouldn't want you to be mad at me. I hope you're not getting pneumonia again, you have to be careful because once you get pneumonia or bronchitis, you seem to be more susceptible to getting it again. My son got pneumonia when he was 14 years old, and ended up in the hospital for 4 days. He's 34 now, and he seems to get bronchitis more easily, and last year he got pneumonia again. I agree that it would be a good idea to see either a ENT specialist, or have a X-ray of your chest and lungs to make sure they are clear. Get well soon and Take Care. Is this your regular family Doctor? Maybe if you're not happy with him, you can look for another Doctor, that you can trust more.

Vets and doctors are all alike.... I've been wanting to do some neutering myself...and I'm against it when it comes to dogs....

I really do neep another doc. He is a family practitioner. One example of his stupidity is, my blood pressure was really high and he wanted to stick me on meds right away instead of trying anything else. I suggested, hey why dont I try to lose some of the weight I have steadily gaining? I need to lose 50 pounds. The genius had the nerve to seriously suggest gastric bypass surgery! I could never afford to lose that much weight. I walked out of the office, went on a diet and have lost almost 20 of the 50 pounds so far and I have my blood pressure holding steady at 126/80. It was 200/110. Yay me!
