Guinness always gets hiccups sometimes after he eats and sometimes out of no where...they last a few minutes but they are pretty forceful. Is this normal? any suggestions? It doesn't seem to bother him though

I know my boys have had their share of hiccups also. I wonder if the puppies are similar to 2 leggers? My newborn gets the hiccups, sneezes and coughs randomly and the dr said all 3 are normal for new babies due to their nervous system not being developed completely. I bet the puppies are similar and once he gets bigger he wont get them so much.

Jozi gets them without fail. I just always
thought it was a normal thing for Bulldogs.

Hiccups are usually caused by eating too fast or gulping down water, and it is very common in puppies. A slow feed bowl may help relieve the bouts of hiccups to some degree, and is overall a good thing to use with your bulldog anyway, to slow down eating and also help in the prevention of bloat.

I'm going to PetSmart in the AM will have to get one of those bowls.
With bullies having such a short snout do the have any problems
around the obstructions in the bowl?

Stig sometimes gets hiccups too. But it goes away after a couple of minutes or so. It doesn't seem to bother him as well.
