So Vito has come down with an itchy rash on his tummy, chin, and paws... My Aunt is a Vet Tech and said to give him Benadryl, my question can I wrap the Benadryl in a little bit of Peanutbutter to give him since we don't have any puppy pockets?

Thank you!!

Alisha

Sure, or you can even wrap it in a piece of cheese too. One mg per pound of weight.

Is Calamine Lotion the same as Caladryl Lotion? I'm going to try some of that on his tummy as well. (Since he can't reach his tummy to lick it off)

You can wrap it in anything that he likes to eat, peanut butter, cheese, or even a little ice cream.

Itchy Skin Remedies for Dogs, Cats, and Other Pets!

Spraying or washing your dog with a diluted apple cider vinegar solution can restore the acidic nature of your pet's skin, kill off pathogens, and soothe the itch. Adding a bit of apple cider vinegar to your dog or cat's food or water may also help treat itchy skin from the inside, as it does for people. Oatmeal baths, fish oil supplements, and herbal remedies may help your pet get relief from the itch as well.

I use vanilla ice cream to give meds... Never fails for me.
