Help! When to neuter my puppy....

I have an 11 month old English bulldog, that I would like to have neutered. I read that his growth plates were not completely formed and it was better to wait to neuter him. How old should he be? My gut instinct is telling to do this soon. He is showing signs of slightly aggressive behavior. I take him to training classes twice a week and work with him daily, but I’m noticing a slight change in his behavior.

As close to a year as possible or later would be ideal. Louie got neutered at 11 months because he started marking in the house.

I have had 2 bulldogs- First was Bogey- he developed a hernia at 6 months and it needed repair. We decided to neuter him at the same time, since I did not want him going under anesthesia more than once. He is now 7 and healthy, happy and no problems. Jackson is 1 and we did the neuter at 6 months because he started marking and humping everything! He did just fine and bad behavior stopped. My son has not had his 1 year old neutered yet, but he is starting to mark, so I think it's time!!

I’ve done between 7-10 months with all our boys, but as others said as close to a year as you can

You can do it now if you want, but 18 months is preferred
