Hi,

Been looking at getting an English bulldog for the last few months and today (my birthday) I’ve been surprised with the arrival of Tino! Our 12 week old Black and Tan boy.

A couple of days in now and he’s settled in great! We’ve got him on a raw meat diet and natural treats. I know everyone has different methods but we’re trying to stay away from anything with too many chemicals. He’s already letting us know when he needs to go out for the toilet, but sometimes I think he does it in anticipation of receiving a treat. He’s such a relaxed little character. Can’t wait to watch him grow.

:welcome2: to EBN and Happy Belated Birthday!!! Tino is adorable, and the perfect birthday present!!!

Tino is a beauty and such a gift šŸŽ And .. this place here you’ll find is a great gift as well .. a wealth of information for that new baby of yours :). Welcome

BigTino, you have a great method! Keep feeding raw n grain free treats and your little ā€œpreset ā€œ will do just fine. More n more people are starting to feed their pets grain free and more n more are going raw. Raw still has a little ways to go as kibbles was always an easier ā€œmethodā€ to feed any pet. When you have the big guns like Purina changing their kibbles towards grain free (they’re still not there yet) says it all. I can guarantee that the Purina dog shows, them owners sure don’t feed their show dogs Purina kibbles. All this to say.....keep doing what you’re doing! One thing I would add is raw marrow bones cut to the size for Tino. About 3ā€ long n feed it frozen. Great for their teeth n furniture. :)

Thanks for the tip regarding frozen marrow bones I’ll give that a try. We’ve got some cut down deer antlers at the minute that he really seems to enjoy gettin his little teeth into.
