A Scottish guy living in England
Country
Scotland .
Bulldog(s) Names
diesel - paisley & nula
Diesel follows me everywhere, I just went into the kitchen for a coffee and noticed he hadn't eaten his food.
I lay down and started to feed him one bit at a time, I stopped feeding him and he just gave me one look and I started feeding him again until he was completely done.
Who's done this ? Surly it's not only me ??

Hope he don't want a repeat performance tomorrow

Is this normal for Diesel? If one of my dogs doesn't eat their food-I worry-not normal for them. I know "only" dogs can be more picky! As long as all is well with him-and he is not ill, he will have you trained in no time to feed him by hand! It's unusual for a pup not to eat!

No not normal, normally I would just leave him to himself. I work every Saturday night on the railway but I have one off tonight, in a good mood and found myself on the floor feeding, laughing at myself and thought jez who's boss here

Ha!ha! I think you already KNOW who is boss..................it ain't you..

Oh reality, I have 4 daughters hence why I bought a boy and now he's above me in the pecking order.

I can't wait till I get to work where I know I am the boss. Lol

Uh OH-don't take it out on your poor employees!ha!ha! boss man.jpg

Me, Me, I have..... not with Banks, but Nitschke at times was very picky and would not eat unless I fed him

Ok -i feed Lilly her breakfast ,bit not dinner -she is so used to it that she can sit and wait 20min near her bowl until i finish my housework
Its my fault-i created the monster-but you know what -i love every minute of it xx

I've done it before too! Don't feel bad but don't make it a habit either lol

Ok I did it the past week but my boy has been ill :) he will starve if he thinks I will always do it " hehe I think I am lying to myself "

I've done it too.
First time was when we first got him. For the first week or so, he wouldn't eat out of his bowl so I hand fed him. I'm guessing it was stress.
Second time was when he had his surgery. He wasn't feeling well and I needed to wet his food which he hated. Only way to get him to eat was hand feeding.

I'm guilty of doing this:blush2: especially with Joey, she's a bit lazy in the mornings... well, she's a bit lazy always but in the mornings to get her going with the eating I go - "One for mommy, one for daddy, one for your best friend Pug, one for your new friend Lucky, one tiny Harvey, one for Basjan, one for Bennie, one for your arch enemy Boeboe, two small ones for the parrots and all the rest is for YOU". Lol, don't judge:ashamed::tongue:
