Thank you, LaurenA, you are so right, we DID rescue one another!
My future DIL's bully, Bruzer, is now 5 yrs old and was tremendously
healthy until age 3 when he developed severe allergies, trouble urinating
(he had surgery), etc. It was when I started researching the breed in order
to help Bruzer that I begin the dream of owning one. She, my son, my husband,
everyone was against it but I knew I would have one.
It is a risk taking on a rescue, I know next to nothing about Brutie but then again,
I know he was provided to me as a gift from GOD so I knew he'd be perfect. He has
some itchiness, he was on Iam's at his temporary home, don't know what before that
and he had eye goopies and infected wrinkles (his face stunk!) but I've switched him
to a grain free, dairy free kibble w/salmon as main ingredient and he's much better.
Even his gassiness is gone
