Welcome!!! I'm from Tyler too!!!!!!! Trying to plan a get together here locally so we can have a bully party :]

Crystal, I am absolutely thrilled you've contacted me and delirious you
want to have a 'get together' w/the Bullies. I will try to NOT act needy
or nerdy things like needy. BTW, can I call another Bully owner, Sharon,
and get her and her girl, Daisy Mae, to join us? She cuts hair at Profiles
here in Tyler, that's how we met...she's been dxed w/cancer (I believe
melanoma on her arm and having chemo treatments), works and is
bringing up her 2 grands, a boy & a girl (just under & just entering teens).

What a woman (and I get in pity parties over my crap, I should be whipped)

Anyways, thank you, Crystal, for your kind & welcoming reply. We can bring
the Bullies to my house @ 3311 Brooks Lane (off Owens which is off 5th & Loop).
I have a huge & shady yard, fenced of course and have them inside, it's bully
friendly) Call me at your convenience @ 903-787-8431, can't wait to meet y'all.

members! "Welcome' to you and Olive, she's striking! Mr Brutie, we had to add Mr to his name, he's
such a gentleman (and so much more mannerly than the rest of us) settled in from day 1, sad to say,
it took me a little longer to LOVE him (I LIKED him a lot) because it was hard to stop comparing him
to my fur grandson, Bruzer (I even called him Bruzer, his name is Brutus)...Brutus was my 1st exposure
to English Bulldogs and the 1st time I cared for him for a week...I cried about the 3rd night, listening to
him (and those noises) & thought it was cruel to continue breeding them. Actually, I'm still not convinced
we (us humans) aren't being selfish...but I am so deeply, deeply in love with Bruzer and since he at 3 had
started having severe allergies and other problems, began researching to help him. Slowly began dreaming
about getting a baby bully but GOD had other plans and placed Mr Brutie here...a month later...no more
comparisons...I LOVE Mr Brutie just for his wonderful, sweet self Looking forward to knowing you
and beautiful Olive, better!

I think we live pretty close, I live right off Owens Ln, right off 5th Street and yeah,
can't wait to get the Bullies together, they will love this big, shaded yard...going to
get a kiddie pool this wkend.

New EBN member posted a couple days ago from Longview, TX...may need help finding a
Bully Vet...who do you use or recommend?

Hello fellow Texan- I live near San Antonio. If nothing else makes you smile, just take a look at your baby. Who could look at that face and not feel lifted. I currently have Emma almost 3 years ago. Love her so much, that I wanted another little girl. I am now in the process of adopting another little girl from the Lonestar rescue. She came from puppy mill, very hard life, almost came to being put to death, because she could not produce any more babies, but some wonderful person was able to rescue her, and she is now making great progress in her foster home, and I hope to be adding her to my family very soon. She is a survivor, and I already love her and so proud.
