I got this idea when one of the puppies chewed my sons sippy cup. They put chew marks, which are sharp, on his cup. I try to think of a way to smooth out the sharp parts because it was my sons favorite cup. I smoothed it using my dremmel!

I was just about to throw several nylabones in the bin because they were

#1. Gross. No amount if cleaning was going to fix them.

#2. The sharp teeth marks were making their mouths bleed

So I decided to give the nylabones a dremmel to see if it would work.

Here's the results!

Before (ouch and ewwww!)

After (not too shabby!)

Took about 15 minutes of my life to repair. Sanatized and ready for round #2!

Genius , that's the best Idea i've seen in quite some time. NICE WORK mama :2thumbs:

Great Idea! I actually cut my finger on a sharp spot on one of HRH's nylabones the other day. We will try this next time we get the dremmel out for a nail trim.

Thanks! I was very excited to share it with you all, then I was thinking you would probably think I was a bit weird.... :loco:,

but I have a couple gallelio's that are like $25 each!!! No way I'm tossing those!

don't ever hold back on ideas, someone can always make use of an idea, I love it, I have a bunch laying around and the dremel is charging

This is a great way to extend the life of a nylabone and $$$! Thanks for the tip! What kind of dremmel do you use?

Excellent idea! I drimmel Momo's nails and we have a bone exactly like that and it too is sharp. Thanks for the advise.

It's the multipro 7.2 v model 770 t2, I've had it about 3 years now. Cheap battery replacements found on eBay

Additionally when ours get gross I toss them in the dishwasher.
