Yes, the larger the breed the shorter the life span, i believe.

Aww so sad, I love danes!! I will own a dane again, From owning one and having an english bulldog their personalities are alot alike. I could go on and on about how much I love them but there are other post where I posted about our girl Harley! They are lazy dogs, she would be hyper outside but inside she would just really lay around, and a true lap dog!! They don't know their size she would flop right across your lap!!
