FAQ: What do you use to clean wrinkles and nose ropes?

We use unscented sensitive skin baby wipes, for wiping their eyes, nose ropes and faces. My guys don't have deep nose ropes, so they don't need to be wiped everyday. When we bath them every 2 weeks, I use a face cloth with tearless puppy shampoo and I wash their faces, ears, eyes, and nose ropes.

I use Stridex pads (in the red box). I also use Strideex for the tail pockets it is drying and does not stay moist. I also use witch hazel oil on the folds as well as Malaket. Depends on whats laying around and why the situation is inside the fold. LOL

just a damp paper towel and follow up with a dry one.

Once a week he still gets a douxo pad cleaning in his nose rope.

Betadine antiseptic mixed to a weak tea colour and then wipe with a dry pad

I use diluted white vinegar on a cotton pad or paper towel. Baby wipes and witch hazel irritated Henry's skin.

Dry kleenex tissues probably twice a day. witch hazel or douxo once/twice a week, or more if irritated or gunky. Lola doesn't have a really deep fold, but it can act up with her allergies sometimes. :)

I use witch haze, colloidal silver, or something finnish called Relaxant. Sometimes if they're really moist I put some Desitin as well.

I use a cotton ball with witch hazel for normal cleaning and maintainence. I also use Malacetic Otic (ear and skin cleaner).

If they look irritated, brownish-reddish color, or itchy, I use Malacetic Otic Ultra or panalog. That will usually clear it up within a day if there is a problem starting.

Douxo pads once or twice a week when needed.

I use clx wipes. The vet recommended them. They have an anti yeast think in them.
But reading this I ll use witch hazel.

Witch hazel on a cotton pad for regular maintenance cleaning and for issues/allergy flare ups Duoxo pads

I clean her nose every time I change her water supply (Every day - twice a day) using just a moist paper towel and follow up with a dry one.

For her tail I was using unscented alcohol free baby wipes during most of the first year, which made it a twice a day clean (Since she has a cork tail)... My vet recommended MalAcetic wet wipes, ever since, I only have to clean her tail every third day (No more yellow stuff, no more irritated or dry skin)... You can buy a 100ct wipe box for about $ 19.00 shipped to your door.
