Good Morning All,
Quick update on Ellie, she is home, and doing well. Trying to play toys like a crazy lady. Still has some residual Aspiration Pneumonia, which the Vet put her on 250Mg of Clavamox for two weeks, and for Eating to help move it past the Esophageal Pocket, she going to need to eat at an elevated level, and no laying down for 10-15 min after eating, and she was also put on 5Mg Metoclopramide (Reglan) 2x a day for 2weeks, and 1x day (for possibly her life time), to help her food move better down her food tube, so it doesnt get stuck in the pocket, and to minimize nausea, to prevent regurgitation, and Aspiration Pneumonia- Vet says we will see how it goes, I am hoping that all she will need in the future will be to eat at the elevated level, but we will do all that is necessary to keep this lady healthy.
Hope everyone is having a nice holiday weekend!!

Hugs!!
