How do you handle him being out in the heat? We are going to South Carolina at the end of the week for vacation and we are not bringing Brutus because I thought it would be to hot and humid. Some advice please? I even limit his outside time at home on Long Island NY. Am I being too cautious?
awe how cute! he is rocking that life jacket! We found out that Holly could swim when is ran full speed into a mud pit at the dog park! she went down for a few seconds then popped back up and swam to the side. it scared the out of me, but she LOVES swimming in the actual pool for the dogs at the park!
Hey Brutus Mom! I can relate we live in northern VA and it is always a challenge with this humid weather! Can't wait until fall. For our FL vacation we rented a house across from the street from the beach in Siesta Keys. So we would walk him early in the morning or play in the pool, so he could nap away until we got back in the afternoon. Lucky for us there was dog beach a few miles away that we drove to almost every evening. He had a blast playing the waves and running around in the sand.
Thanks. I can't wait for fall either. Brutus loves to be outside so the cooler weather will be great for him. So much to think about with our beautiful babies.
