deer antlers at petco

i was cruising through petco yesterday looking for sarahs special treats i get and what did i see? deer antlers. i thought i was going to have to order them to try them. i believe they had different sizes to. so for those who order them might be worth a look. i dont remember how much they were will have to look again. geez i spend way to much time in petco

That is GOOD NEWS! The Dingbat Lady store had a few - and I bought one, of course. The problem with it was two fold:
1) "Large" isn't very and was extremely narrow at the pointy end. The other end cracked and broke off to reveal a sharp shard of an edge and Bo cut his face on it, trying to dig the marrow out with his canine teeth.
2) "Large" was stuuuupidddly expensive. I think it was 25 bucks? Something like that. Ouch. But of course, I had to have it for them.

yeah some of those small pet stores are pricey. my boyfriends brother bought two moose antlers from one near me and spent a fortune. (over $30 per antler) but they were big and they still have them so I guess it was an okay purchase. definitely better online though.

Our Petland carries them and they sell by the pound. I picked a rather large one that seemed to be right for Vegas and it was $31.00. I told the guy No I can get them cheaper online.

Yea... go online -- the stores are a real rip-off on the pricing. The one I've bought from is Grateful Shed
