A household really needs one of each. Blu is a sweet little fella and loves his peeps. Dot is a bit gruff and grumbly, but she loves us too.

There is such a huge personality difference between Ruthie and Brutus, I prefer them both. Ruthie is so laid back and reserved. Brutus is wild and crazy. I like the contrast.

My girls are wild and crazy; I have never had a male bully so I have no comparison. I have had both male and female Great Danes and their personalities were equally matched.

With any dog or cat I have ever had, I always prefer males. Although I have owned both at one time or another.

I have always had females then along came Diesel and wow has my heart melted to that sweet boy ... so I say no home is complete without one of each
