Cookie's update !!!!

Hey everyone, so i when in to the vet today in Riverside who is a specialist in bulldogs, he recommended an x-ray and once it was done cookie has about 6-7 babies inside her and she has run out of room and her full stomach is pushing her lungs forward and that's why she been having some breathing problems so got some medicine for that purpose.Congrats to cookie gonna be a mom to a Bulldog/pug mix cant wait to see how they come out hope everything goes well. The vet also couldn't tell the exact days she was in so he just told me to look out for temperature changes and any discharges. i just checked her temperature and she is at 97.9 F. I did some research the regular temperature for a bulldog is 101.5 is she ready for a c section??? please let me know i will appreciate that.

Is she nesting or digging? Is she panting and restless?

It is important to know her base temperature, so if she is panting (continuously) and at that temp, then she could certainly be ready. I would personally wait until she starts to push, especially since you have no idea the exact dates of possible conception. Do yo have this vet on call and ready when she is?

i dint even think to ask that at the moment big mistake she is still in the 97 f temperature

Her temperature is at 97.4 right now and stays in the 97F. And yes she been panting these past 3 days. How can you tell when she is pushing does she make any particular sounds or movement? am sure it can be notice.
She had been very restless always just siting and never laying down what so ever. Does anyone have like snapchat so you can take a look at her???? It would really help

I'm kind of worried about Cookie. Is it worth a call to the vet?

I took my Bella to the vet's when she was pacing, panting, and having a heavy discharge. This was her first litter, so I literally had NO idea what to expect… we were very close to her due date. If you don't have a date then you need to have an experienced bully vet to make the decision on this one…

She will squat like going potty, make sure you have a box ready with a heat lamp or hot water bottles, or a low voltage heat pad. The puppies must be kept warm at around 85 degrees F

Oh joy! How is Cookie doing?
Praying for her & babies continued great health.
Babies must be kept warm, at same temperature (not sure what temp).
Experienced members will give good advice soon, also, many feedings in
1st few days & other things to do, good luck & thank you so much to let
