Colonel vet visit

Let me start by saying I [emoji175] everyone here and couldn't have gotten through BeBe's passing without all of you.

A few weeks back Colonel aka Mr ADHD started acting weird. So off to the vet he went [emoji17] and they kept him overnight to run test and all that wonderful stuff.

To get to the point he has an enlarged heart with a murmur and his lungs have some sort of damage to them.

He is on a heart pill , Lasix and asthma meds.

When I searched online it said congenital heart disease.

I love my bullies!!!!

Yes they say to keep him mellow. But if anyone know this dog it isn't happening we just follow his lead on activity.

He will be on meds his whole life and they feel that he has a fighting chance.

We should have a follow up in the next month.

Oh, so sorry for the news. All I can say is that I know he is loved so much, and you will do any & everything for him, which means he does have a fighting chance, and will prosper. That to me, is a positive, regardless of the meds everyday. I would do anything for my baby, so I know exactly how you feel, I will keep you & Colonel in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear about Colonel's health issues. I once had a boxer with an enlarged heart (cardiomyopathy). She was diagnosed when she was 2 and lived 6 more years with meds! I hope the best for Colonel!

Update: Colonel has been doing great on his medication and remains as ADHD as always. Which is good because I love him no matter what
